A brief synopsis:

Daniel Vicente (Shawn Bernal) is Chicago's most feared hit man whose life has been disciplined by an assassin's creed of solitude and tradition. Serving as the right hand man of Patrick Keller (Chad Sheveland), the second most powerful crime lord in Chicago, Daniel has assisted Patrick into the power and status that he holds. However, when an unexpected double cross occurs during the assassination of a well-known council leader, Daniel finds himself the prime target of the fearsome Madame Lo (Allison Carvalho), leader of the triads. After finding out that Patrick approved the hit on him, Daniel is left stunned and angered. Confused, betrayed, and left with no explanation, Daniel must confront old friends and past demons, while questioning his own creed to find out who he can trust, why he was double crossed, and to ultimately find the reason of his existence.

The film features a large local cast from Chicago as well as premiere indie stunt talent from The Stunt People, Jabronie Pictures, Hyphen Movies, and Redeemer Stunt Team.

The project is currently in production and is expected to wrap in April 2009. It shall premiere as a 4 part episodic series online starting in May 2009 and as a feature film in October 2009.

Hitwoman: Assassin Blocking Tape

Yep yep, Emmanuel recently got hired to stunt coordinate a short film for independent filmmaker Del Harvey, which will be shot in late March, and because the film is about a hitwoman's life and her upbringing, they wanted the fight scenes to be more in the style of the Bourne series and the newer James Bond films. So all Emmanuel merely did was go out and ask Alex and Laurie from Asylum Stunts to stand in for the actor and main actress that would be in the last fight. Emmanuel essentially choreographed something in that style (which he's not particularly used to) and shot it in about 2 hrs. Emmanuel just used the outline of the fight in the script, and then basically went about it in the way that he would shoot/direct as it would be on set. Here's how it came out:

Hope you enjoy! Alex and Laurie did a fantastic job as usual, and Emmanuel is pretty happy how it turned out, considering this is his first foray into this type of style of choreography.
